It was an absolute honour to look after the funeral of the Late Dominic Oughton this week. Seeing his colleagues from HM Tower Fortress and his family and friends honouring his life with such respect was humbling. I know his family would like to thank all involved, especially funeral celebrant Sarah, the Royal British Legion, Llandudno Branch B. R. 2962, Ruth for her faultless and note perfect rendition of the Last Post, George for Standard bearing and Adrian for the Exhortation. Thank you all so much.

It was a beautiful morning for the Memoria Denbighshire open day. Thank you so much to Nan,Sue,Dave and Aled for their kindness and hospitality once again.
Planting spring bulbs in memory of those we have lost was the order of the day, followed by refreshments and a good chat. Lovely to see you all.

It was lovely to meet Mr. David Hunter today. David visited from the National Association of Funeral Directors for our inspection and to assist us in making sure we adhere to the highest standards of membership. Thank you for all your help and pointers, we absolutely appreciate your input.
Sorry we didn’t have any cake this time! We will stock up appropriately next time you visit 👍

Outside of work we have been assisting the amazing Friends of Mostyn Street and the Llandudno Crafters with their 80th Anniversary of D-Day and “The Longest Yarn” tribute. From moving pews at Holy Trinity Church, to transporting ‘Winston Churchill’ to stand in front of the life sized knitted tank in The Victoria Shopping Centre, and tonight helping with the unloading and positioning of the 80 containers of crafted 3D panels depicting D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. It’s been quite a journey for the brilliant volunteers at FOMS who are behind this incredible tribute.
Celebrations start on the 2nd of October. Please visit llandudnorespects.com for more information.
A special thank you to Gini and Pat for the beautiful Knitted Poppy wreath on loan from the Llandudno Crafters which looks beautiful at No.12.

We had a lovely evening taking part in the St David’s Hospice Moonlight Memories Walk once again. A great turnout as always. Thank you to our brilliant friends at the hospice for organising it perfectly. Everyone who took part did so in memory of someone gone, but never ever forgotten.

It was lovely to be invited to meet the coaches at Llandudno Amateurs Football Club this evening. We’ve had the privilege of sponsoring them this season and wish them all the very best. It was great to see our logo on their kits.

Cheryl and Josie have over exerting themselves once again for good causes. This time it was for our brilliant, local, St David’s Hospice. A 27 mile walk to raise money for the amazing work they do. Well done you two.
